Some very exciting news...

A couple of months ago, my favourite online kid's boutique Baby's Got Style announced they were looking a panel of product reviewers. A pretty sweet deal, the reviewers would get sent clothes, write reviews of said clothes, and (the best part) get to keep them!

Of course, I found this hugely attractive as I spend more money on the girls' clothes than I do on my own (and don't mind a bit of writing, as you may have guessed) so I'd sent my "audition" off within half an hour.

Well, I am incredibly chuffed to tell you all that I've been selected as one of the panel of 12 and should get my first products for review fairly soon...I get as excited as a little girl when I think of the mailman coming bearing that initial parcel!

I'll let you know when the first review is set to be published...in the meantime, check out their website but - be warned - you will not be able to resist opening your wallet...well, I never can.

Well done!

I'd like to be on one of those panels for Oroton. Happy to try out as many bags as they like. My family has forbidden me from buying any more or asking for them for my birthday. Luddites.

Hi bugmum, way off topic, however....
As you live in the COLD capital what do you dress your baby in for sleeping? I am in Melbourne and winter has hit hard and cold, am confused as to how many layers to dress my 10 month old son in. He is in a sleeping bag, but moves around the cot so much he does not stay under a blanket.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Barb

Winging it a bit, Barb...my first was in a grobag at 5 months but Miss Sophia, at nearly 9 months, is still demanding to be wrapped (despite being able to roll and sit and all the things that should mean she's not to be wrapped anymore!)

At the moment, I'm dressing her in a little singlet suit with a wondersuit over the top; then wrapping her in a single bedsheet (try and get out of that one!); and then a light waffle weave blanket and light quilt.

It gets bloody cold here at night!
