Masterchef Challenge Week 2

Last night, I revealed I wussed out on declaring a winner in the first ever Masterchef Mystery Box Challenge and, instead, Olivia drew Ally's name from a hat as the lucky namer of the next 10 ingredients! Here are her picks and a little bit of background to her choices...

I have been craving a lot of Mexican inspired food recently so you can probably see a bit of a theme with these ingredients [Ally's pregnant with bub no 2] but I have tried to not go too overboard. Have also had an unnatural addiction to strawberries so would love to see if anyone does anything special with them!

1. Chorizo (sausage)
2. Fetta
3. Avocado
4. Wine
5. Eggs
6. Peas
7. Lemon
8. Strawberries
9. Chives
10. Butter

Th The rules

Fo As a reminder, the idea is to use the 10 key ingredients and basic products from your pantry (we're a little bit more flexible than the real Masterchef with these 'extra' ingredients, so don't feel too restricted) to produce a gorgeous meal. You don't need to use ALL the Mystery Box ingredients, but a good percentage of them.

By Saturday lunchtime, comment and link back to your photo/recipe details - or, if you don't have a blog, just comment letting everyone know what you've whipped up. Ally will decide a winner and that person will get to pick next week's Mystery Box key ingredients. Your time starts now!

I cheated a litte this week - I made two dishes but managed to use 7 ingredients - It would have been 8 had I been able to enjoy a glass of wine while eating my dishes!
