What goes around...

When I was about 15 (during the 80s, the decade that style forgot), there was a trend towards huge, large-checked flannel shirts...preferably worn with tight acid washed jeans.

Well, it appears the westie fashion movement is once more in vogue, as evidenced by the latest Country Road collection. For what it's worth, I won't be going there a second time. Will you?

I may technically be a 'westie' these days, (livin' in the Creek!), but there is no way in living hell you will catch me wearing anything remotely similar to this. It was a fashion abomination the first time round and even though Country Road has slapped their label on these new flannies, even the model manages to look feral cheryl.

Agreed on the flannie. But I did go the black 'boyfriend' jacket. I love Country Road and I think they do a grand job of their loyalty scheme/direct marketing.

Hell yes...CR is my current fave...but there is no way on God's green earth that you will catch me in that beanie.

Unless you want to look like a Gothic Smurf.
